GDPR & Privacy Compliance

At RGstat, privacy isn’t an add-on — it’s a core feature. We built our analytics platform to respect your visitors’ rights and to comply with GDPR, CCPA, and similar privacy laws from day one.

Our tracking script does not:

  • Use cookies
  • Store or log IP addresses
  • Fingerprint devices
  • Track users across different websites

Instead, we collect only anonymized, aggregated technical data, like:

  • Page URL and referrer (if available)
  • Browser and OS (if available)
  • Device type and screen resolution (if available)
  • Approximate location (based on real-time IP geolocation — the IP itself is never saved)
  • Session duration and navigation events

Even if a person visits multiple sites tracked by RGstat, they are counted as separate, unlinked visits. No cross-site tracking, ever.

When you register and use RGstat, we collect:

  • Your email address
  • The domains you add
  • Usage stats (like logins)
  • Billing info (if you upgrade to a paid plan)

This info is only used to run the service, support you, and process payments.

Our script runs in the browser and sends async POST requests.
It doesn’t set cookies, use local storage, or assign unique identifiers.
It only sends minimal technical info needed for basic traffic analytics.

All data is stored and processed in the EU (Amsterdam, Netherlands).

  • Legal Basis: Legitimate interest (analytics) & contractual obligation (accounts)
  • Data Minimization: We collect only what’s needed
  • No Personal Data: Visitor info is anonymous by design
  • Your Role: You’re the controller, we’re your processor
  • Transparency & Control: You stay in control of your data
